He offers intellectual property services to the public and prepares and prosecutes patent applications before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

In 1978, he earned a Juris Doctor degree from Seton Hall University, School of Law, and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in that year. In the interim, he expanded his admission to the Bars of Virginia and the District of Columbia and has practiced law ever since. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Magna Cum Laude, from Newark College of Engineering in New Jersey.

He served as Patent Attorney, intellectual property expert, executive and General Counsel to a half dozen small businesses.  In addition to his private practice, he currently serves as General Counsel and executive to two small businesses headquartered in Northern Virginia: Radioactive Isolation Consortium, LLC, a waste vitrification research and development company, and HCE, LLC, an energy company promoting development of inventions in the fields of energy and the environment.
